We are pleased to announce the following vacancy
in the Coast SME, SoHo and Channels sales section of the SME, SoHo and Channels Sales Department within the Enterprise
Business Division
. In keeping with our current business needs, we are
looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below:

Key Roles:

  • Service
    Request Fulfillment – Business Service Request, Mobile service and Data Orders;
  • Ensure all service requests are processed within the agreed SLA;
  • Order
    Management – Manage order process on an end to end basis;
  • Cost
    Management-
    Operate within approved budget e.g. stationery, overtime, taxis, mileage etc;
  • Communication of agreed order management
    performance standards and targets (SLAs);
  • Achievement of agreed
    order management targets. This will include:
  • Ensuring
    that set revenue target of business, fixed, mobile service provisioning and data
    orders sent to deployment on a daily basis is achieved;
  • Achievement
    of set billing revenue target. Regional daily, weekly and monthly targets;
  • Identifying
    and closing revenue leakages e.g. due to obsolescence, active non-billing
    services/customers;
  • Ensure conformity to
    the policies, procedures and processes;
  • Ensure
    timely and accurate reporting- Daily, Weekly and Monthly.

Job Requirements

  • Degree from a recognized university;
  • Previous experience in sales and/or
    customer service will be an added advantage;
  • Excellent knowledge of Safaricom
    Business processes, products and services;
  • Excellent written and verbal
    communication skills (articulate) coupled with good listening and critical
    reasoning skills;
  • Proactive, confident, energetic and
    able to work under pressure with a positive
  • attitude and use good organization
    skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Good decision-making skills;
  • Understanding
    of the Enterprise market, trends, and technology as well as sound knowledge of
    Digital Trends.
Additional Details:
As part of the interview process, external candidates should prepare the following documentation which will be required at a later stage based on your performance in the interviews/assessments.
    • An updated CV with contacts of three referees, 2 who must be professional and must have supervised you at some point, the other referee can be a colleague in the same professional field;
    • Kenyan Certificate of Good Conduct (Less than 1-year-old) or a receipt of the same from the CID pending release of the hardcopy document;
    • Clearance certificate from a reputable Credit Reference Bureau (CRB);
    • University Degree Certificate/ Letter of completion from University in case you have not received your degree certificate;
    • National ID/Passport.
