ResponsibilitiesSupervision & Leadership•With the ID Sales and Marketing Director and International Division Leadership team to lead the business and define the strategy and business plan for the Country.
•With ID Country Marketing and Sales & Distribution Managers for best practice sharing, capability development programmes.
•Within Country HR (TM and L&D) to ensure accelerated development of core learning solutions for deployment in the country.
•With TCCC brand teams and knowledge & insights teams regarding capability development programmes, category development, innovation and OPBBC
•With cross-industry Marketing networks to identify, share and implement best practices and/or learning.
•Actively lead team members to develop and execute best practice strategy by function
•Support logistics Director and team with strategy implementation.

•Outside supplier management
•Various internal functional interaction – finance for governance, primary distribution for reliability etc.

Key Outputs and Accountabilities

•Implementation of the Country business plan to meet and exceed targets.
•Full P&L responsibility.
•Provide leadership, coaching and capability development programs to enable the sales regions to meet growth objectives.
•Performance manage regional employees to deliver business plan.
•Implement reward, recognition and retention plans.
•Formulate and execute operating expenses and capital investment budgets.
•Implement the Route to Market strategy.
•Execute channel and promotional execution strategies.
•Build strong capability enabling the execution of a sophisticated portfolio.
•Execute short and long term revenue growth strategies.
•Build superior knowledge and understanding of the country market including shoppers, consumers, customers, categories and competitors.
•Build strong relationships with local communities and implement community upliftment programmes.
•Build strong relationships with local key stakeholders including but not limited to the government, media, SAP and surrounding medium to large businesses
•Ensure alignment of business unit within the extended value chain.
•Provided leadership, support and guidance to the team.
•Ensured High level focused improvements.
•Led Operational Excellence for Country.
•All legal compliance elements and good governance practices managed.
•Build the company’s reputation and drive behavior in the country that will ensure that the company’s reputation is not damaged.

Judgement and decision making

•Leadership taken in integrating cross functional teams across the Sales and Marketing and Supply chain, head Office and other support functions with the desire to have all working towards common goals as one team.
•Give unsolicited input into strategy across functions.
•Be strategic within the boundaries of the agreed strategy.
•Determine the optimal tactical plans for the region and different geographical areas.
•Setup systems and processes to identify when to adjust plans for potential risks and opportunities.

Skills, Experience & Education•Extensive Management experience at Senior Levels at least 5years.
•Minimum 10 years’ sales experience
• Extensive FMCG experience
•Solid experience in Sales and Marketing Strategies
•Marketing & Channel Strategy
•Revenue Growth Management
•RTM design and execution
•Sales Force effectiveness, covering Traditional and Modern trade, channel management, RED execution, Sales Force engagement, Sales Force automation and digital
•Secondary distribution

•Sound Leadership with agility in thinking and nimble in decision making

•Communication skills

•Excellent negotiation skills when dealing with customers
